Why should you get to know martin29?
Although doing shift work does take up a lot of my time, I feel the need to make new friends and, if possible, find a serious relationship.
I'm hard working, committed, responsible, honest, independent, trustworthy but also lonely. I'm hoping to meet someone who is the same.
I'm the first to admit that I have a rather odd personality - I don't like most of the things that most people do. I prefer night to day, winter to summer and quiet to loud noise.
I'm not really relegious - I do believe in a higher power but not totally convinced by it. I would have to say I'm more spiritual - I believe it things like fate and destiny.
I'm a little shy, but always come out of my shell once I've gotten to know someone well enough - though that's not to say I don't enjoy a good night out and a laugh sometimes. What I'm trying to say is that I'm not one who feels the need to go down to the pub or club every, single weekend to have a good time.
I enjoy the simple things in life - the company of close fiends, a relaxing night in after a hard days work, occasionally going out on the weekends I get off with friends to be sociable and have a good time letting my hair down once in a while.
I'm a huge movie fan and even enjoy going to the cinema just as much as staying in watching a DVD. I'm not really into sports, clubs and that sort of thing. But, as I've already said, do enjoy the simple things - country walks, driving in the country, sitting in a pub garden taking in the views and watching the world drift by as I relax and enjoy the calm, quite atmosphere.
Now I'm looking for that someone special to share it with. Someone who also enjoys the simple things in life and doesn't always feel the need to go out every, single night to have a good time.
I feel as though I'm asking for a lot, but there has to be someone out there and if there is and are reading this right now, then I would hope they have the courage to get in touch to say "hello" and see where things lead.
