About Him
I'm an optimist with a positive outlook and a wicked sense of humour. My friends see me as easy going but know I don't suffer fools gladly. Presentable in looks, I engage readily around people with whom I feel comfortable.
I should exercise more and have yet to stop smoking. I do cycle on weekends, enjoy a walk or ride my motorcycle. Socializing with friends and family (married daughter and two granddaughters) keep me out of mischief.
I'm quite content living on my own and aren't desperate for a relationship, although a special spark may change that in a flash. A lady can expect to be treated with respect and consideration (sometimes to a fault). I love touch and a sensual kiss, but I'm not great at instigating the first step. A chat over a glass of wine is how one gets to know a person.
I live happily in Gauteng but my favourite place is my little spot near Mosselbay, which I plan to renovate now that I'm retiring. Vacations are spend in the Kruger Park, by the sea or touring Karoo back roads and passes either by car or motorbike, exploring quaint little stopovers and villages.
