About Him
I'm a fun-hating shut-in and I sit around staring at the walls all day. Oh, wait, no, that's not right. What's the point of saying I'm fun-loving? After all, while there might be people out there who're too miserable to enjoy fun, how many of them are there, really?
I'm quiet and shy around people I don't know, but take some time to get to know me and I'll come out of my shell.
I'm getting back into running after several years off, aiming to do the Knysna half and then building up to doing the Two Oceans ultra again next year. With some cycling, of course. Must get more time on the mountain, I haven't been out for ages. AS with cycling, I'm not an elite runner, so stopping to take in the view and enjoy the opportunities is completely acceptable, though stopping for coffee is somewhat less likely (after all, how often am I going to be running for 2 to 3 hours in training?) :-) I'm also happy spending time on the couch reading, watching movies, chatting and just chilling. But I guess that's the part that's "normal".
There's still some interest in getting back into dancing, but with no partner, it's trickier.
I DJ sometimes - mostly techno (listen to the likes of D-Nox and Wehbba and you'll get the idea).
I cook when I have the time. Mainly bolognaise and red thai curry because they're known and easy. Still need to branch out. I'm thinking of trying a roast chicken as a start. With some lemon and thyme.

My ideal match... I don't know because I haven't met her yet :-)
What do I think my ideal woman will be like ? Someone who enjoys the outdoors and the indoors, someone who can sit and watch a movie, but also go for a walk on the mountain, a ride on a bike. A woman I can talk to about complete nonsense as well as the most serious things and everything inbetween, a woman who'll explore the mysteries of life with me. Hmmm...thick with cheese, that.
