About Her
How on earth does one answer this question? I am compassionate, try to be tolerant and non judgemental, love animals especially cats and horses. My Family is extremely important to me. Spend quite a lot of time at horse shows (dressage) as both Grand Daughters compete. Used to ride myself many moons ago! Am traditional and conservative in many ways but in others plough my own furrow. I am always interested in other people's points of view, am a good listener and always enjoy meeting new people though am better in small groups or one on one. I love travelling and have done a fair amount though not for some time now. It doesn't have to be 5* but not camping or caravans. To get to know me you need to ask me any questions that you may have. Honesty and transparency are important to me. I have recently returned to live in England having lived in South Africa for many years and before that in Kenya. Being more or less a 'Colonial' I'm probably 'more British than the British' and was brought up with the 'pull yourself together' and 'stiff upper lip' sort of attitude! I very much 'go with the flow', don't have rigid routines, cope with the young coming & going, love young people & listening to their views on life, also have a lot of time for old people. Happy to do 'spur of moment' things & enjoy life in general. Get on well with most people.
Love antiques, going to auctions, Persian carpets, Sterling silver. Love eating out, braais (barbecues) at home, small gatherings with friends. Enjoy cinema & some theatre.
Would love someone with whom to share a joke & for friendship. If, that leads to a deeper relationship that would be a bonus but it would just be nice to have some companionship & someone to laugh with.
Enjoy watching some sports & have always been 'just there' for both my husband & Family. Have very definite views on life. Am an excellent listener & a very staunch, reliable friend.
