About Him
I am a faithful, loving and a giving person with a huge heart. I am a true romantic who still believes in old fashioned romance. I have enjoyed life and love to travel. Have visited 45 different countries around the world. Spent most of my childhood and early working years in Zambia (Northern Rhodesia). Then moved to Maun Botswana to go work with the Safari Industry, spending most days working and travelling within the Okavango Delta.
Lived in Reading from 2002 to 2012 then went on contract to Tarkwa Ghana and Durban South Africa. Returned to Reading December 2018.
I am quite a traditional but different gentleman. Enjoy the outdoors and the freedom of living in my sarongs whenever and where ever possible, especially when at home.
Spontaneity is my speciality, as is cuddling up on the sofa but forget the DVD as we will never get to see the ending. Enjoy giving but not particularly at Christmas or on Birthdays, prefer the element of surprise.
If you like the idea of a spade being called a spade and not a shovel then we will get on.
Into genealogy, British/Colonial History, old British Architecture, Photography, Antique British toys and British kids books, WWII, Travel and Land Rover.
Am pretty good around a kitchen, nothing fancy but a good wholesome meal I can do. Also do a good back and foot massage too...
Be good to grab a picnic basket and head off for a walk along the river or down to the coast.
